Thought of making a detailed intro….Though I’m often stuck blank wondering what I should be writing about my self,I fairly managed this time to compile my likes,interests,etc and general profile here.

I’m born and brought up at Kolkata(India), near college street, a popular hub for bookworms like me.I did my schooling from Loreto school and finished my engineering in IT in 2007.

In my earlier days,I loved swimming and this passion bagged me first prizes in local contests twice in a row.I enjoyed drawing and took interest in First Aids at St. John’s Ambulance Brigade for the primary certification.

During my college days,my father had inspired me to join NCC (air wings) where I was promoted to the rank of LFC within the first month.However I hated waking up early and the tough discipline there,so I left after six months.I regret that now because I would have got a chance to learn paragliding,rifle shooting,horse riding,flying planes,trekking,etc….

Entrepreneurship often intrigued me,which triggered my first project on ‘Online Financial Transactions’ at STEP IIT Kharagpur during my third year at college.Here’s an excerpt (http://www.telegraphindia.com/1060719/asp/careergraph/story_6493274.asp) of my interview by The Telegraph newspaper on this project(19th July,2006).Eventually I drifted off to my career as it could not be pursued at that time due to my inexperience and lack of sufficient knowledge that was required for this project.

The happiest moments of my life had been during my high school, when I  bunked my mathematics classes just to read books at book stalls at College street(I didn’t used to get much pocket money at that time to buy them).

My current addiction is playing RPG games and writing guides on the game play at free time. After graduating, I had been helping some developers I know in game designing, writing game walkthroughs, playing tonnes of games and also developing small game prototypes from 2 years (from 2007 end). I’d also written walkthroughs for a Webby award nominated and Toronto based Gaming website Gamezebo, which is also a popular site to find all game information.

Currently I’m looking forward to make this site bigger and better by adding as many useful RPG game resources to help both players and developers alike. The response is encouraging and now I’m off to day dreaming again…
