This game is a lot of fun at first, but the controls are a bit awkward, turning the screen to look around is painfully slow, and I keep getting blown up.

I wish it were possible to level up to a high level--unfortunately, there are basically two levels for everything. You can upgrade each aspect of your ship only once. I would like to see an ability to increase defense many times like an RPG, for example, because when I try to do things in the higher-level areas, the pirates there blow up my ship in seconds. Too much challenge for me, it results in so much frustration I have abandoned playing the game. However, people who like more challenging games may love this game for that reason.

You can use invulnerability magic ammo by pressing the 1,2,3 or 4 hot key (depending on which slot you have put it) to stop getting killed easily.

Thanks, I'll have to check that out! Guess I should open the strategy guide--I bought it but haven't even looked at it yet, LOL!
